Students learn best when there is modeling, opportunities for learning through various modalities ; student -to student and group discussions; questioning using Depth of Knowledge (DOK} to promote higher order thinking.

To provide inclusive rigorous instruction through differentiated instruction: supported materials and tiered tasks with an emphasis on our multilingual learners and SWDs.
 

Definition of Rigor

 
Allowing scholars to think outside the box. Rigor is work that fosters critical, higher order thinking. Rigor challenges the students' thinking- Pushing scholars as far as you can push t hem.
