Our School

Core Academic Beliefs

Students learn best when there is modeling, opportunities for learning through various modalities, student-to-student, and group discussions, and questioning using Depth of Knowledge (DOK) to promote higher-order thinking.

Instructional Focus

To provide inclusive, rigorous instruction through differentiated instruction, supported materials, and tiered tasks, with an emphasis on our multilingual learners and students with disabilities.

Definition of Rigor

Rigor allows scholars to think outside the box. It is work that fosters critical, higher-order thinking. Rigor challenges the students' thinking, pushing them as far as they can go.
