Dear Lead-X Families,
I just wanted to take this opportunity and formally introduce myself. I am Sheila Villanueva, and I am privileged to be your Parent Coordinator. It is my duty to make sure your voice is heard and that you feel welcome in our school environment. Your suggestions, recommendations, and ideas matter to us, and I will ensure I bridge the communication between you and the school staff.
My ultimate goal is to build and maintain an effective partnership between the home and our school community. Throughout the course of the year, I will keep in contact with you by posting new school community news online and sending home with your child newsletters, calendars, flyers, and letters about events and programs available to you. Also, look out for various free workshops for families during the school year.
To maintain clear and frequent communication with you, please ensure your Blue Emergency Card is current. Accurate mailing addresses, emails, and phone numbers are very important and will be used to stay in contact with you. We send a large amount of communication via email. Please contact me immediately if there are any changes to your contact information during the year.
I look forward to meeting all of you throughout the school year, but I am certainly available to meet or speak with you anytime. You may contact me at the school @ (718)276-4540 ext.2205 or via email at SVillanueva@schools.nyc.gov.
Thank you for your commitment to your child’s future success, and I look forward to working with you this school year!
